Newark Police officials are investigating a crash that involved multiple vehicles on a highway in the city's East Ward Sunday morning.
At approximately 4:10 a.m., police were notified of a collision on the Pulaski Skyway.
Upon arrival, police say the crash involved at least three vehicles in the southbound lanes.
One person suffered severe injuries while several others incurred non-life threatening injuries.
Police closed all lanes on the highway for the crash investigation.
