Paterson Police are investigating a shooting incident in a section of the city Thursday night.
At approximately 11:40 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Rosa Parks Boulevard and Warren Street.
Upon arrival, police arrived and found multiple shell casings, but no victims were located near the crime scene.
Police learned from witnesses that two males exchanged gunfire before fleeing the scene. Officers canvassing the neighborhood found a gun near 111 Putnam Street.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been apprehended at this time.
