Detectives from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office are on the scene of a violent shooting that has a man dead in East Orange at this time.
The Essex County Prosector’s Office has confirmed with RLS Media that they are leading the investigation into a shooting that happened at the intersection of Springdale and Lincolns Street this afternoon.
Residents told our reporters that the victim is a store manager inside the St. Michael’s Grocery store.
An armed male suspect reportedly shot the worker dead for an unconfirmed reason. The assailant then ran from the scene.
The store has active surveillance videos, according to authorities.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
