NJ Transit officials are investigating a fatal train strike that occurred Saturday night in Secaucus.
Transit officials said at approximately 9:38 p.m., Pascack Valley Line train 2129, which departed from Hoboken at 9:21 p.m. and was scheduled to arrive in Spring Valley at 10:34 p.m., struck and fatally injured an adult male pedestrian west of Secaucus Station in Secaucus.
According to NJ Transit, no injuries were reported to the 50 customers and crew members on board.
New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation.
