The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating the shooting death of a man in the area of Kennedy Boulevard and Woodlawn Avenue.
Shooters approached the victim, then fired multiple rounds in his direction that struck him.
The unidentified man was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center, where he died a short time later.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
