Passaic County officials are reporting that at approximately 4:30 a.m. today, members of the Paterson Police Department were notified that a 23-year-old male Paterson resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Officials said that based on the initial investigation, the victim was in the area of 20th Avenue and Railroad Avenue when he was shot.
A crime scene was located in that area.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
