Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 4:07 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, police responded to the area of 312 Germantown Road in the Township of West Milford in response to a crash involving two motor vehicles.
According to county officials, the crash involved a 2020 GMC Savana van that was being operated by Nicholas Kovatch, 28, of Hewitt, and a 2011 Honda Accord that was being operated by Yolanda Tineo, 64, of West Milford.
County officials said that Ms. Tineo suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision and was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
