The pedestrian killed last night in a hit-and-run crash was identified as a 27-year-old Colts Neck man, according to police.
Police responded to Route 37 west by Fischer Boulevard were they found, Jeffrey Michel, unresponsive after he was struck by a car motorist shortly before 8:30 p.m., police said.
Michel was pronounced dead at the scene.
Although very little information was given about the driver or the vehicle, police said car appeared to have been blue.
