Trenton Police has launched an investigation into a stabbing that left a person injured in a section of the city Monday morning.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., police responded to reports of an injured person on East Paul Avenue.
Upon arrival, police say they found an unidentified person suffering a severe stab wound in their stomach at that location.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital and the extent of their injury could not immediately be confirmed.
The motive behind the attack is under investigation and no arrests have been reported.
