An arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Marvin Nelson, 51, of Newark, who is wanted for the burglary and theft of two vehicles he had junked on March 2, 2022.
According to Police, the victim, a Newark resident, filed a report that said that two vehicles – a 2007 Chrysler Town and Country and a 1993 Mercedes Benz – were stolen around 5 p.m. from the 400 block of 18th Avenue.
Police said during the course of the investigation, detectives identified Nelson as the suspect who took the vehicles after he damaged a fence to gain access to the property.
Police described Nelson as 5’7’’ and 201 pounds.
He has brown eyes, black hair with a grey goatee, and a dark complexion.
