Newark Police are looking for a suspect wanted for a shooting that caused property damage in the upper West Ward Monday evening.
A ShotSpotter device activated and alerted police of gunfire in the vicinity of 48 St. Paul Avenue shortly before 8:20 p.m.
Officer arrived and canvassed the scene for victims, but no injuries were reported.
Police say they found an unoccupied vehicle struck by bullets and shell casings on the ground.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
