Authorities in Passaic County are reporting that at approximately 3:22 p.m. Wednesday, Paterson Police were notified that a 23-year-old Passaic resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said the victim was walking in the area of East 33rd Street and Park Avenue when he was struck by gunfire.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
