Police in Newark request the public’s help with identifying a suspect who is wanted for her role during a gas station robbery with two other women on January 28.
Police say at approximately 7 p.m., police responded to a call about a robbery in progress at the Sunoco Gas Station in the 200 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
Upon arrival, the gas station attendant told the officers that one of the suspects accused him of not putting gas into their 2014 Gray Nissan Sentra.
When the attendant attempted to get the receipt as proof, the suspects exited the vehicle and attacked them.
They pulled his sweatshirt over his head, then took money from his pocket and tased him with a Stun Gun before fleeing in the vehicle.
Police say two of the suspects have been arrested, but police are searching for the third suspect, a female who is 5’2” – 5’6” and weighs about 150 pounds.
She has a medium brown complexion and afro hairstyle and was wearing light blue jeans, a grey colored sweater, and tan boots.
