Authorities are looking into the cause of a crash that involved multiple vehicles on a highway in Newark Sunday afternoon.
Newark Emergency responders rushed to the eastbound lanes of I-280 near exit 14 to investigate reports of a crash with injuries reported.
Upon arrival, crews found as many as six vehicles involved in a collision, with two victims suffering non-life threatening injuries at that location.
The injured were transported to University Hospital for treatment and are expected to recover.
The collision caused moderate delays on the highway while police investigated what caused the wreck.
