Police are investigating the cause of the crash that injured a person on a highway in Camden County.
NJ State Police responded to reports of a wreck with injuries in the northbound lanes of NJ-42 near mile marker 9 in Gloucester Township just before midnight.
Police arrived and found an unidentified person suffering a severe leg injury after being pinned under a car at that location.
According to reports, the victim was extricated from under the vehicle before rescue crews arrived at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no other injuries were reported.
