North Bergen Police are searching for a suspect wanted for an armed robbery at a store in the township Saturday afternoon.
Dispatch alerted police of a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Lot Less store located in the 2800 block of JFK Boulevard around 2:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, store officials told police that a male suspect began to shoplift items from the establishment and when employees confronted him, the assailant produced a gun.
The suspect fled the store and is at large.
Police reported no physical injuries.
