Police located a male suffering multiple gunshot wounds in an Elizabeth hotel room this evening.
According to Elizabeth Police, at approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to reports of a person shot inside a room of the Embassy Suites near Jersey Gardens Mall.
Police said when officers arrived, they found a man, around 26-years-old suffering multiple bullet wounds.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment and is in serious condition.
Elizabeth Police said detectives are reviewing video to determine a motive for the shooting and possibly identify a suspect.
The investigation is active.
