Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 7:49 p.m. on January 13, 2021, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of East 18th Street and 11th Avenue in Paterson on a report of a shooting.
According to officials, police located a potential crime scene and a 38-year-old male Paterson resident who had sustained multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds upon arrival.
County officials stated that the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
