Newark East Ward Police are searching for several suspects wanted for an armed robbery and several attempted in the Ironbound section of the city on Sunday evening.
Police are looking for a silver or light-colored vehicle occupied by 4-5 black males who attempted several robberies on Prospect Street and successfully stole personal items from victims on Adams Street.
At approximately 9:30 p.m., the suspects approached victims walking on Adams Street and produced a weapon before stealing their wallets.
The individuals were last seen speeding on Ferry Street towards Penn Station.
Police reported no physical injuries in any of the incidents.
