Update: Two Charged in Woodbridge Teen's Death

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department announced that two men were arrested this evening on charges arising from the apparent drug-related death of a 17-year-old girl.

​William A., King, 22, of Edison and Andrew A. Lindo, 22, of the Somerset section of Franklin Township, were charged following the death on February 23, of Rose Carlin, 17, of the Fords section of Woodbridge.

The two were charged with endangering the welfare of a child and hindering apprehension, both third degree offenses, and a fourth degree count of tampering with physical evidence.

Bail was set at $75,000 for each of the defendants.

Police responded to the Hilton Garden Inn at Raritan Center in Edison where they found the victim at approximately 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

She was pronounced dead at 4:41 p.m.

The investigation has further shown that the death may be drug-related, but the cause will not be determined until an autopsy is completed by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office.
