Trenton Police are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured a male in a section of the city Saturday.
The early morning shooting happened around 1:40 a.m. in the 400 block of Garfield Avenue.
Trenton police responded to reports of shots fired in the community and when they arrived, officers found a severely injured male suffering bullet wounds.
EMS provided CPR to the victim before they transported him to the hospital, where he remains in life-threatening condition.
The suspect has not been captured at this time.
