At 2:15 p.m. this afternoon, the Ewing High School administration was made aware of a vague social media posting alluding to a potential school security threat, Ewing School District officials said.
According to district officials, out of an abundance of caution, the police were notified, and the school went into lockdown.
District officials said that the threat was determined to be unsubstantiated, and the lockdown was lifted at 2:32 p.m., and school dismissal occurred.
District officials emphasized that no gun or weapon was determined to be in the school.
