Bloomfield Police are investigating a theft that occurred at a store on December 6.
According to police, officers responded to the Shop Rite at 1409 Broad Street on a report of shoplifting.
Police said that the loss prevention employee observed a young Caucasian female enter the store and shoplifted merchandise valued at $130.00.
According to police, the suspect then fled in a white sedan.
This incident is under investigation.
