Authorities reported life-threatening injuries for one of two victims found shot at a location in Jersey City Saturday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of gunfire that erupted in the area of Martin Luther King Drive shortly before 7:25 p.m.
Multiple police officers and detectives arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering bullet wounds in his face at that location.
Police say a second victim was found suffering non-life threatening gunshot wounds in his leg.
Both victims were rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment while police on the scene notified the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office of their findings.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined at this time.
Police say the shooters remain at large.
