Passaic County officials announce the arrest of Floiran Langumas-Montero, 24, of Farmingdale, NY.
Mr. Langumas-Montero was arrested on December 2, after an investigation conducted by the Prospect Park Police Department.
According to county officials, Mr. Langumas-Montero is charged with Kidnapping, Aggravated Sexual Assault, Luring, Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The investigation revealed that on October 29, Mr. Langumas-Montero traveled at midnight from Long Island to Paterson to pick up and take a thirteen-year-old girl, with whom he had met and communicated with online for several months, to a remote location where he engaged in explicit contact with the underaged female.
There is a statutory mandate for an Avenel evaluation and registration pursuant to Megan’s Law for the offenses of Kidnapping, Aggravated Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
There is also a statutory mandate for Parole Supervision for Life for the offenses of Kidnapping, Aggravated Sexual Assault, Luring, Sexual Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
According to county officials, Mr. Langumas-Montero is presently detained at the Passaic County Jail.
