Authorities in Mercer County are investigating a stabbing incident that sent a man to the Hospital in Trenton Saturday morning.
Police said at approximately 5 a.m., they found the unidentified man suffering a stab wound in his chest in the 30's block of Wilkinson Place.
The victim was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center for treatment and remained in serious condition.
Trenton Police officers secured the scene and searched for evidence and a possible suspect. The motive for the stabbing is under investigation.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
