One person suffered non-fatal injuries in a shooting in Elizabeth Saturday.
The early morning shooting was reported in the vicinity of Ripley Place and 1st Street before 1:50 a.m.
Elizabeth Officers arrived and found the unidentified victim suffering a bullet wound at that location.
The injured was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting at this time.
