NJ State are investigating a fatal incident that occurred on the NJ Turnpike Monday morning.
According to NJ State Police, at approximately 8:39 a.m., dispatch received reports of a male who jumped off the Interchange 14 overpass on the New Jersey Turnpike in Newark.
NJ State police said EMS transported the victim to the University Hospital, succumbing to his injuries.
This is an active investigation.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending his next of kin notification.
