Newark Police are searching for a suspect wanted for a commercial robbery of a gas station in Newark Saturday evening.
According to authorities, at approximately 6:41 p.m., police were dispatched to the Mobile Gas Station located at 1139 Broad Street to investigate an armed robbery in progress.
Units arrived at the scene and were told by employees that a black male suspect arrived at the business and demanded cash.
The unidentified suspect took an unknown amount of money before fleeing the scene.
Police say the assailant was last seen wearing a black hoodie with different colors on the front.
There were no injuries reported.
