Police in Newark are on the search for two armed suspects who committed a carjacking in Newark’s Central Ward this afternoon.
At approximately 12:10 p.m. suspect armed with guns arrived at the Exxon Gas Station located at the intersection of Fairmount and Springfield avenues.
Police say the thieves pointed a gun at the owner and stole their grey Mercedes Benz then sped away from the scene on Littleton Avenue.
The carjacked vehicle has reported NJ license plate numbers “T73-MNJ”.
There were no physical injuries reported.
