The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating an overnight shooting homicide in Trenton.
Officials said at approximately 3:25 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, Trenton police received a ShotSpotter activation for multiple rounds in the 900 block of Brunswick Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, identified as Mr. Dartanian Ames, 41, of Lawrence, was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center and pronounced dead a short time later.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
