There is a search underway for a suspect wanted for a commercial armed robbery in Bloomfield.
According to township officials, officers responded to 335 Ampere Parkway (El Azteca Deli and Grocery) on a robbery report on Monday, October 18th.
Police say a male entered the store and requested a pack of Newport cigarettes and a sandwich.
According to police, the male then stated that he had a gun on him and demanded the money from the register.
Police said the victim did not see a weapon and refused to hand over the money from the register.
The suspect then grabbed numerous packs of cigarettes and a sandwich and fled the store on foot towards Bloomfield Avenue.
This incident is under investigation.
