According to authorities, on Saturday, October 23, the Millville Police Department – Criminal Investigations Division and the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office – Major Crimes Unit investigated the shooting death of Mr. Patrick Trotter, 32, of Penns Grove in the 500 block of West Main Street in the City of Millville.
Officials say, as a result of the investigation, charges were filed against Mr. Brandon Dennis, 29, of Vineland for Murder, Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, Certain Persons, Criminal Mischief, Burglary, Desecration, and Terroristic Threats, Obstruction, and Hindering Apprehension.
Authorities say, at this time, Brandon Dennis is not in custody.
