Police are looking for the man they say robbed a Lakeland Bank on Bloomfield Avenue this morning.
Police responded to Lakeland Bank, located at 49 Bloomfield Avenue, shortly after 10 a.m. for a report of a bank robbery, police said.
The suspect told bank officials he was armed, but did not show a weapon. The suspect then fled the bank on foot towards the area of Hilltop, near Mountain Avenue with approximately $600 in cash, according to initial reports.
The man was only described as a white male, last seen wearing a checkered shirt and tan hoodie.
Authorities are continuing to investigate.
