A driver struck and killed a pedestrian in the roadway Friday night in Hamilton Township, police said.
An early investigation suggests officers were initially dispatched to a report of a pedestrian struck Nottingham Way and Klockner Road shortly before 8:10 p.m.
When officers arrived at the scene, police said they found the victim suffering injuries after being struck by a vehicle at that location.
According to police, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office was notified of the fatal incident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
