Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced that on Wednesday, September 29, following a three-week-long investigation, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force arrested a Bergen County man leading to the seizure of nearly 260 grams of cocaine and an illegal handgun.
According to Prosecutor Suarez, at approximately 6 p.m., detectives initiated an investigative stop of George Suarez, 36, of Lodi, in the area of 29th Street and Summit Avenue in Union City.
Prosecutor Suarez said that during the stop, Suarez was found to be in possession of nearly 60 grams of cocaine.
A subsequent search of Suarez’s residence in Lodi resulted in the seizure of approximately 200 additional grams of cocaine and a .380 caliber handgun.

- Possession of CDS (Cocaine)
- Possession of CDS With Intent to Distribute (Cocaine)
- Possession of CDS With Intent to Distribute (Cocaine)
- Possession of CDS With Intent to Distribute (Cocaine) Within 500 Feet of Public Property
- Possession of CDS With Intent to Distribute (Cocaine) Within 1,000 Feet of a School
- Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Narcotics Offense
- Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose
- Certain Persons Not to Possession a Weapon, Possession of CDS With Intent to Distribute (Marijuana)
