Elizabeth Police are on the scene of a shooting with a man down and severely injured in a section of the city.
At approximately 2:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the vicinity of 126 Fulton Street to investigate reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found an unidentified male suffering multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle at that location.
The victim was pronounced at the scene.
Police recovered about a half dozen shell casings at the scene.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
