Authorities in Bergen County announced the arrests of Mr. Keywan Hudson, 45, and Mr. Salik Stephens, 39, both of Newark, on armed robbery and weapons charges.
Bergen County authorities said during a month-long investigation by detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad and the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department, Hudson and Stephens were identified as suspects in an armed robbery that occurred in Hasbrouck Heights on August 11.
According to Bergen County officials, today, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Newark Police Department, and the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Hudson in Newark.
Officials said Hudson was subsequently arrested without incident outside his home.
Police served Stephens complaints at the Hudson County Jail, where he was in custody on an unrelated incident.
