Bloomfield Man Wanted in Connection with Killing of Newark Mom Arrested in Georgia

Today, police confirmed that a Bloomfield man wanted in connection with the killing of a Newark was arrested in Georgia.

27-year-old Perry Howard, who has been on the run since the fatal November robbery, was found in this morning in a Savannah, Ga. apartment Thursday morning. 

Authorities added, another man wanted in a separate homicide was also arrested thanks to the lead.

Perry is the fourth suspect wanted in connection to murder of Ana Satian last year.

On November 2, Satian was on 3rd Street in Newark visiting a friend hen she was shot after a cell phone robbery. Victim died the following day at University Hospital the next day.

Three others have been charged in the fatal shooting with with felony murder, conspiracy, robbery and weapons offenses.

Perry and White are being held in Chatham County Detention Center in Georgia awaiting extradition to New Jersey, police said.
