Police in Paterson are investigating a shooting that sent four victims to the hospital Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:55 a.m., officials at St. Joseph's Medical Center notified police when four gunshot victims began arriving at the emergency room seeking treatment for bullet wounds.
Police say the victims reported to police that while in the area of East 18th Street and Fulton Place, multiple rounds of gunfire rang out that struck them.
According to reports, all the injured were transported by private vehicle to the hospital, suffering non-fatal injuries.
Officers found shell casings in the area, but no other victims were found at that location.
