Two people suffered serious injuries in an early morning Trenton motorcycle crash.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to the Delaware and Raritan Canal located in the 20's block of Passaic Street after learning of a collision around 12:40 a.m.
According to authorities, emergency responders arrived and found an unidentified person lying in the roadway and a damaged motorcycle at that location.
Police say responders learned of a second person who may have entered the canal's waters, during the investigation.
According to police, a dive team searched the canal and found the other person who suffered life-threatening injuries.
Both of the injured were rushed to the regional medical center in serious condition while police continued to investigate the cause of the crash.
