Passaic County authorities are reporting non-fatal injuries for a male gunshot victim found in Paterson Sunday night.
Police say at approximately 9:50 p.m., officials at St. Joseph's Hospital notified police that a gunshot victim entered the emergency room suffering a bullet wound in his leg.
The victim informed police that while in the area of 74 Mercer Street, an unidentified armed male fired shots that struck him at that location.
Officers canvassed the Mercer Street location and found shell casings, but no other victims were found.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
