Trenton Police are investigating a motive behind a shooting that injured a woman in the city on Monday morning.
At approximately 12:10 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of Ashmore Avenue and Anderson Street.
Upon arrival, police found a woman suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in her leg.
According to police, EMS transported the woman to the regional medical center, where doctors treated her injuries and she is expected to recover.
Police have not announced an arrest in the shooting at this time.
