Police in Paterson are investigating a stabbing incident that sent a person to the hospital overnight.
Officers responded to reports of a person stabbed in the 300 block of East 33rd Street around 12:35 a.m.
Upon arrival, police requested EMS in a rush after locating the seriously injured person at that location.
Police said the victim was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment while police stayed at the scene and conducted the investigation.
The motive for the attack has not been determined at this time.
