Passaic County authorities said, at approximately 6:02 p.m. on Thursday, Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of East 22nd and Park Avenue to investigate reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene and an 18-year-old male Paterson resident suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Police said the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
