Police in Newark are looking into the circumstances behind a stabbing incident that sent three victims to the hospital Saturday morning.
In a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of an injured person at 281 Schley Street shortly before 3:30 a.m.
Units arrived and found the victim suffering a non-fatal stab wound.
According to reports, police learned that two additional victims were found in the 800 block of South 19th Street during the investigation.
All of the victims were listed in stable condition and it is not clear if the trio is cooperating with authorities at this time.
The motive for the stabbings are under investigation.
