Nassau County Police Department is searching for a missing girl who was last seen on August 1 in Woodmere, NY.
Police believe that Makaylah Adams, 14, may be in Newark in the Avon Avenue area.
Makaylah is described as being 5' 4" and 100 lbs with an average build. Police said that she has dark skin, brown eyes and long black hair with red highlights.
She was last seen wearing grey sweats, a grey/white/purple hoodie and orange flip-flops
