Reports of shots fired in the single digit block of Rusling Street sent police and EMS to the scene where a male victim was located with a gunshot wound to the face at around 10 p.m.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital where his injuries are reported to be critical.
The incident is under investigation by Trenton Police.
