Authorities are continuing the investigation and no charges have been filed in a brutal homicide of a senior man inside a residence in Orange in June.
Open Public Records Act documents obtained by RLS Media showed that on June 21, Orange Police were called for reports of a home in the 500 block of Seven Oaks Road to investigate reports of suspicious activities.
Upon arrival, police found the body of Mr. Willliam T. Harris, 79, suffering a massive head injury after someone beat with a blunt object with force.
The OPRA reports showed that the Essex County Prosecutor's Office was the lead agency looking into who killed Mr. Harrison.
Residents in that, before Mr. Harris's murder, Orange Police have made multiple visits to the home to investigate and break up domestic disputes involving the senior man and his son.
County authorities have not charged nor implicated Harris's son with the fatal attack and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
