The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Teaneck Police Department have announced that two have died as a result of a residential fire in Teaneck.
According to Bergen County officials, the Teaneck Police Department received a report of a house fire at 1161 Arlington Avenue at approximately 3:20 a.m.
Officials said that members of the Teaneck Fire Department located a fire in the area of the second floor and during fire suppression operations, they located two unresponsive individuals.
According to county officials, both individuals succumbed to their injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
